Identifying the needs for superior in-flight catering

At the three storied plant, anti-bacteria insulation panels are used for the ceilings to keep the room temperature at the optimum level for the Processing Division. In the kitchen, ceiling implanted exhaust system has been implemented. A central surveillance system is used lo keep refrigerator and freezer temperature of each division at an even level.
Roasting only the surface of the meal, then rapid cooling are some of the techniques used to improve the taste and quality of The meal. the number and types of eating utensils differing between the carriers are completely tracked automatically in the utensils storage.

Arranging the food on the dishes flat for easy carrying, choosing ingredients according to religious and dietary requirements are completely covered. At the meal presentations held periodically to the airlines, styles varying from Japanese, Western, to Chinese, from appetizers to deserts, line up the tables.

Identifying the needs for superior in-flight catering

In order to meet the international food safety standards, we have implemented the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis Critica1 Control Point system),managing the temperature from handling of the raw materials, processing, storage, serving on the utensils, to shipping in order to prevent deterioration. The temperature is constantly kept at 15 degrees Celsius at the Food Preparation Division and Processing Division, The plant is fully equipped with air showers, sterilizer linked automatic doors and hand driers. We have taken every step to assure the safety of the meals.

We have been certified by ISO9001, the quality assurance international standard,in September, 2003. We will meet the expectations of our client companies – the airlines and others – by providing safe and sound in-flight meals and accurate loading services.
Attentive hospitality is always on our mind
Inspection room is situated within the factory. Utmost care is taken to insure the safety of the food by inspecting the processed food and by storing a portion for a given period. In the remote case that there should be a problem, we have measures installed to quickly investigate and correct the cause. In addition, attention is paid to raising food sanitation awareness company wide by periodically holding sanitation seminars for the employees.

The dispatch room, the information management center, receives orders from each carrier, and dispatches such information as the menu, passenger number, and the loading time to the necessary divisions. After the in-flight meals are transported by the loading staff by trucks, the container load is lifted, and then carried quickly through the doors of the departing plane. The whole process takes about 40 minutes. Checking by the flight crew completes the job.

The accuracy required for in-flight loading items
NAC’s work does not end with processing of in-flight meals. Alcohol drinks such as beer and wine, soft drinks, in-flight shop goods, among others are properly loaded by each flight, so that air travelers can enjoy a pleasant flight.

We are the sole in-flight meal processing plant at Central Japan International Airport. We work closely with aircrews from culturally, linguistically and religiously diverse backgrounds. In order to cater for the needs of each airline and aircrew with a greater degree of flexibility, we endeavor to increase our clients' satisfaction by offering our professional staff with extensive knowledge and skills.

Our contribution to Ecology - Water reuse and r
We treat and reuse wastewater from our plant. The recycled water, that has been treated to standards, is reused for toilet flushing. Having installed a water storage tank that stores enough recycled water, we are prepared ourselves for natural disasters, such as earthquakes and droughts. One of the main advantages is that the recycled water is reliable yet eco-friendly.
